Contained discreetly behind the frosted glass casing is a solar panel array that captures sunlight during the day, storing it in a battery cell. When ambient light drops below a certain level the Sun Jar automatically switches on, being powered by the sunlight it captured earlier, releasing a relaxing blue light.
